How much do you know about ecological bags?


Soil is the basis of plant slope protection, and its physical and chemical characteristics and water, fertilizer, gas, heat conditions and other factors have an important impact on plant growth.

It takes a long time for the subgrade slope to form vegetation only by natural forces, which can not match the progress of the project, and the establishment of artificial auxiliary plant community is needed. The following factors should be considered in plant selection combination: ① native plants and pioneer plants should be used together; ② Select plants with strong stress resistance; ③ Short branches and leaves, developed root system and rapid growth; ④ Perennial or older; ⑤ Combination of irrigation and grass flowers; ⑥ Matching of legume and gramineae; ⑦ Matching of warm season and cold season; ⑧ Tolerant management and self-sowing ability; ⑨ Landscape requirements, pay attention to the combination of ribbon and evergreen plants.

The ecological bag is geotextile, and the slope protection of the ecological bag designed in the early stage is generally not provided with drainage channels. Most of the recent design projects have added drainage measures.

The ecological bag should be permeable and impermeable to soil, not only to ensure the free flow of water, but also to maintain the soil and nutrients in the bag without loss, the equivalent aperture of the bag body to ensure that the plant roots freely penetrate the bag body. The thickness of ecological bags, physical and mechanical properties, water permeability, pore size and other parameters must be strictly screened, and should have the characteristics of anti-aging, anti-ultraviolet, anti-biodegradation and animal damage, non-toxic and non-degradation. The bag material should not be hazardous to the environment.

The ecological bag is applied to the embankment slope. Generally, a cut-off edge is set under the shoulder pad, the cut-off edge is connected with the vertical drainage channel, and the concrete foundation is set at the foot of the slope. When applied to cutting slope, ecological bag slope protection is generally used in combination with intercepting drainage system, skeleton, short anchor rod, anchor rod frame beam, hole window type retaining wall and other measures, and there are also cases of using ecological bag protection alone.

Ecological bag slope protection is mostly used for embankment slope protection, and most of the embankment slope height is below 10m.
