The curved mesh PE hard permeable pipe (referred to as "hard permeable pipe", "seepage pipe", "water collecting pipe", "blind ditch pipe", etc., is a kind of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the main raw material, which is extruded by high-temperature extruder bending to swing, and then cooled to form a kind of pipe with one side sealed (commonly known as impermeable layer) and the other side with uniform dense holes (commonly known as permeable layer).

The curved mesh PE hard permeable pipe is designed with 2/3 of the upper part with small holes and 1/3 of the lower part without holes, mainly to prevent secondary leakage of groundwater and quickly drain groundwater away.

The pipe itself is made of plastic material with high thermal expansion and contraction coefficient, so it is not easy to be exposed to the sun. Too high temperature will easily affect its ring stiffness. It is recommended to store it in a cool place and cover it with a waterproof board or waterproof cloth. Connect with accessories such as straight or three-way. During installation, the opening part must be upward and the non-hole part must be placed below. When the pipe is embedded, a layer of anti-seepage geotextile must be paved first, and then backfilled with gravel. The diameter of gravel shall not be greater than 5cm. A layer of anti-filtration geotextile can be paved on the uppermost layer of gravel to filter sediment and prevent sediment from entering the pipe to cause blockage. If the height of gravel layer is greater than 1.5 times the diameter of the pipe, anti-filtration geotextile can be used.
