The seam with width of about 3-15cm, mainly used to deal with various forms of pavement cracks. When in use, remove the isolation paper and directly lay it on the pavement crack, which can not only seal and prevent the pavement crack from spreading, but also effectively prevent the water seepage from damaging the structure and subgrade below, and delay the service life of the pavement.

Product classification

Construction process

◎ Material selection: according to the width of the road surface crack (joint) seam, select the specifications of the normal temperature type and cold-resistant type seam tape, usually 8cm s 10cm, 12cm and 15cm.

◎ Cleaning: Use electric brushes and hair dryers to clean the cracks (joints) that choose to use stitching tape. The surface of the crack shall be smooth (the crack with a width greater than 5mm shall be filled with polymer sealant first), and there shall be no large protrusions, depressions, looseness, gravel or oil marks, grease and other dirt. If there is a large pit, it must be filled.

◎ Sticking: Remove the isolation paper on the back of the sewing tape, face up without stickiness, and stick the sewing tape flat on the road surface with the crack (joint) seam as the center line. In the northeast and northwest regions, when the temperature is lower than 15 ℃, glue should be brushed or diesel gasoline (diesel and gasoline ratio 1:1) should be brushed on both sides of the crack, and then pasted.

◎ Shear: In case of irregular crack (joint) seam, the sewing tape can be cut off with a paper cutter or scissors, and the direction of the crack (joint) seam can be tracked and pasted. But at the joint of the sewing tape and the sewing tape, an overlap of 80-100mm should be formed.

◎ Rolling: rolling with a roller to press the sewing tape to the ground to ensure that the sewing tape is integrated with the road surface. There can be no bubbles or folds.

◎ Closed: After the construction of the seam tape is completed, try to protect the completed pavement to avoid surface pollution and damage to the seam tape.

◎ Open traffic: 7 to 10 minutes after the opening of the traffic.

 

structure and characteristics

The main structure of the surface layer is divided into four layers, from bottom to top:

◎ High bonding material layer;

◎ high elastic polyester layer;

◎ polymer elastic material layer;

◎ Tear-resistant imported non-woven fabric or flexible polyethylene layer.

The four layers of materials play different roles respectively. The four layers are compounded through a special process. The first layer plays an excellent bonding role to prevent the formation of gaps between the material and the road surface and water ingress. The second layer plays a role of skeleton and elastic recovery when cracks change in width under the action of temperature, which is equivalent to the steel hinge wire in the hollow plate. However, this layer of material has certain elasticity while having strength. The third layer is a polymer material, which not only has excellent high and low temperature performance, but also has good elasticity, and is the main functional layer. The surface of the fourth layer is covered with hot-rolled cloth according to customer requirements, which can reduce the friction coefficient of the road surface caused by sticking and seaming, and at the same time stabilize the passage of materials or be lost by wheel friction.
